I’m a graphic designer and illustrator, based both in Sheffield and London, U.K.
My illustrations are inspired by my love of nature and I aim to incorporate environmentally friendly messages in my work whether it’s the subject I am illustrating or the materials and methods I use. I explore concepts and aesthetics equally, aiming to deliver playful outcomes.
I was raised in Hong Kong and was lucky enough to spend my childhood exploring rock pools along the beach. It was here where I learned how fascinating nature was, though also learned about it’s fragility after seeing the devastating effects of pollution washed up from across Asia.
15 Years later, after completing my Divemaster course, I have seen the negative impact we have had on the worlds oceans and find myself trying to marry my passion for design with a sense of responsibility for caring for the planet.
I work using both traditional methods and digital media and enjoy working on a wide range of projects including editorial, advertising, merchandising, design for web and bespoke original artwork. If you would like me to work with you, please get in touch. caz@cazhaigh.co.uk
