I’m developing a font made out of chopped fruit and vegetables to be used in a larger project to promote composting. I created letter stamps from fruit and vegetables including, apples, carrots, cucumbers and potatos.
The letters were first drawn onto the fruit and vegetables and then carefully cut using a variety of kitchen knives and surgical scalpals. Different knives gave interesting textures on the surface of the letter stamps.
